This is Memphis aims to explore a cross section of our diverse city. The faces that make up our city, the people who work to make this a better place. I wanted to capture a Portrait of the City. Exploring the fabric of our community, these are some of the influencers that are improving our city in their own way.
Born and raised in Memphis, I’ve had a natural curiosity about the makeup of our city. Everyone has a story to tell and I hope to be able to help others connect with some of these stories.
Inspired by Chase Jarvis’ Seattle 100, I hope to bring a community closer together.

Great work, man! It is a testimony to the city to see all the great people and great work being accomplished. I am working on a concept that is closely linked with yours – looking at organizations rather than individuals and I am inspired by your website and those along the lines of loving and celebrating Memphis and our folks and stuff.
